Going on a Cruise with Family

I went home to Minneapolis Minnesota this week to visit my mother and my sister. While we were there the weather was 5 below zero. It has been a long time since I have had to live in such cold weather, and I forgot the terrible toll living in cold weather can take on a person. I asked my mother if she thought it would be a good idea if the next time we got together as a family we did so in a place that was a little bit warmer. My sister recommended that we as a family take a cruise. I told my sister that I was 100% in favor of this idea. She said that we should probably look online, and see if we can find some good deals on cruises that either leave from Florida, New York, or Texas. I did a little research on the Internet and I was surprised to find how inexpensive some cruises can be. If you would like to see the information that I found please Click here.

The Type of Food on P&O Cruises

As you can expect from a British cruise line. The food on P&O cruises is very tradionally British. However as cruising becomes more popular the type of food is evolving. P&O cruises have a fleet of 7 ships now. Near enough every one of them has a speciality restaurant from an acclaimed chef. Gary Rhodes as the Arcadian Rhodes. The latest speciality restaurant is by acclaimed Indian chef Atul Kochar. Sindu is on P&O cruises flagship the Azura. The food is Indian fused with eastern blends. All of the P&O ships food is similar. The food is geared to the UK market and at lunch times you can get bangers and mash or fish and chips in the pub. In the evenings in the main restaurant you will get lobster, fresh fish and some of the choicest cuts of meat. P&O cruises are the masters of good quality British food.
